Republic Services expects to begin distributing 96-gallon trash toters to all residences in town in the future for use during Friday trash collection. Once this process has started and you have received your Republic trash bin please begin using it immediately for any trash collection. Overflow trash placed in other containers may be collected at Republic’s discretion- please avoid placing trash in other containers if possible once you have received your Republic bin.

Upon receiving your Republic bin, if you wish to dispose of any unwanted personal trash containers, DO NOT put them out for disposal with regular trash service. They may be placed out for bulk collection- IMPORTANT: please clearly mark these containers as unwanted if you wish to dispose of them during bulk collection.

REMINDER- to facilitate easy collection, trash and recycling toters should be placed curbside with the handles facing toward your property/away from the street. Please place toters in areas easily accessible by the collection trucks (away from mailboxes, parked cars, etc.)
