Water and sewer service is provided to all addresses within the town and is billed monthly.

Water/Sewer Bill Payments

Water/sewer payments may be made using the following options:

Checks, Money Orders, Cash

● accepted in the office or by mail (cash payments by mail are accepted but not recommended)

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover credit card logos

● accepted in the office, by telephone, or in the online payment portal

● a service fee of 2.65% or $3.00 minimum will be charged by the processing company for card payments

Electronic Bank (ACH) Payments

● accepted in the online payment portal or,

● sign up for Auto-Pay billing service within the online payment portal to have your bill total automatically withdrawn from your bank account every month. (those who do not wish to sign up for the online payment portal may enroll in automatic payments by completing the Auto-pay Form and returning to the Town Office)

NOTICE TO TENANTS: If you are billed through your landlord and do not receive a bill in your name directly from the Town you MUST contact the Town Office to receive a unique Customer ID number prior to signing up for the online payment portal. DO NOT sign up using a Customer ID number that is associated with your landlord or another party.

Selling Your House in Queenstown?

Please contact the Town Office as soon as possible with property transfer date to schedule a final reading and end water/sewer service.

Queenstown Town Code Chapter 14, Section 14.12 requires property owners to have performed, at their expense, certain water and sewer inspections to be completed prior to the sale or transfer of any property that receives Town water and/or sewer services.

  • SEWER LINE INSPECTION: A closed circuit tv inspection of the sewer lateral from the main line to the house is required.
  • WATER LINE INSPECTION: A static and dynamic pressure test is required.
  1. Inspections and repairs (if needed) must be scheduled by the seller and must be performed by a licensed contractor/plumber. The Town offers a list of local options but seller may use any contractor/plumber they prefer. Call the Town Office for details.
  2. Detailed inspection results must be submitted to the Town Office by the date of final reading.
  3. The Town, in its discretion, may require repairs if issues are found during inspection. Repairs must be made by a licensed contractor/plumber.
  4. Inspection results and repairs (if required) must be completed before a deed will be stamped by the Town.
  5. Inspections are not required if they were previously performed less than 2 years prior to the transfer date.
  6. Inspections are not required if simply adding someone to a deed or transferring a property to a trust run by a current owner.
  7. Water/sewer accounts must be paid in full before a deed will be stamped by the Town.
