The Town Office remains closed to the public, but it continues to be business as usual for our Commissioners, office and public works staff.  Employees have been instructed to take certain precautions, but remain committed to serving the public the best and safest way possible.  Please feel free to contact us via email or phone with any questions or concerns.

Until further notice, the Town will no longer accept cash as payment for water and sewer.  All payments must be made by check, money order, credit/debit card or ACH payment.  Payments can be made online, by phone or regular mail.  Payments can also be dropped at the Town Office thru the mail slot in the door.

The Town will not shut off water to anyone for non-payment, nor will we charge any late fees.  While this is the law while Maryland is under a State of Emergency, the Town has always been willing to work with our residents and will continue to do so.  We do encourage you to continue to make timely payments if at all possible; however, we do understand it may be difficult for some during this crisis.   Feel free to contact the office with any questions or concerns.

The March 25, 2020 Commissioners meeting has been cancelled.  Any time the Commissioners meet during this crisis, they will meet via conference call.  We will publish an agenda for each meeting, and if open to the public, information for participating in the call should anyone wish to do so.  Cancellation of April meetings and events will be determined at a later date.

The Town receives and monitors daily updates from the QAC Department of Emergency Services, and we will continue to keep you informed of any changes in our operations.

Stay safe and healthy!
