IMPORTANT NOTICE
March 13, 2020

The Queenstown Commissioners met in special session today, Friday, March 13, 2020, to discuss the ongoing concerns with the COVID-19 virus. Due to the recent State of Emergency declared by Governor Hogan, as well as growing concerns with the virus itself, the Commissioners have decided to exercise caution and to limit access to the Town Office for the safety and wellbeing of town staff and the public.

Effective Monday, March 15, 2020, the Town Office will continue to be staffed during regular office hours; however, access to the building will be restricted to town staff and the Commissioners only.

Anyone needing to make a water/sewer payment, is urged to mail it or drop through the mail slot of the Town Office door. Payments can be made online through the payment portal at www.queenstown-md.com. Contact the Town Office with questions about the portal. Staff can be reached via telephone at 410-827-7646 or by email at townoffice@queenstown-md.com.

In the event any upcoming meetings are affected by the office closing, we will make every effort to provide you access, whether by conference calling, video streaming, or by some other means. We will provide you with notice of the meeting and the way in which you can participate if you choose.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope this disruption is short lived. We will continue to monitor the situation, and take guidance from the CDC, as well as state and county governments, as this pandemic continues.
