The Town will be conducting routine hydrant flushing town-wide on Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23. The lines will be flushed as a routine practice to remove scale build up and to ensure proper operation of the hydrants.

While the hydrants are being flushed, and for a short period after, you may experience discolored water entering your home. Please inspect your water before use and if any discoloration is observed, allow all water fixtures to run until the discoloration disappears, usually about 5 minutes. Discolored water can possibly stain clothing during laundry cycles if the above precaution is not followed.
