To vote via Absentee Ballot, you must be a registered voter.

The last day to register to vote in the Town Commissioner election is Friday, October 15, 2021.

  • In order to vote in the election, you must be registered to vote. Voter registration may be made at the Town Office during regular office hours, or by mailing a completed Voter Registration Card to Queen Anne’s County Board of Elections.
  • In order to qualify to register to vote in the Queenstown Commissioners election, you must:

[1] be a citizen of the United States;

[2] be at least eighteen (18) years of age;

[3] be a legal resident of the State of Maryland;

[4] have resided in the corporate limits of the Town of Queenstown for at least thirty (30) days prior to Nov. 1, 2021.

  • You are not eligible to vote in the Queenstown election unless:

[1] you are legally registered with the Queen Anne’s County Board of Elections AND received the Voter Registration Card notifying you that you are eligible to vote in all Federal, State, County and Town elections, OR

[2] you are a registered voter with the Town of Queenstown.

The last day to file for absentee voting is Monday, October 25, 2021.

  • Applications for absentee ballots must be completed and filed with the Town Clerk-Treasurer by Monday, Oct. 25, 2021. Absolutely no applications for absentee ballots will be accepted after the Oct. 25, 2021 deadline. Absentee ballots will be mailed to applicants upon receipt of application.

In order to be counted, absentee ballots must be received by the Town Clerk-Treasurer no later than 4pm on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.
