This notice is to inform all residents of Old Wharf Lane that the Town will soon begin construction on a planned sewer main line replacement project along the entirety of Old Wharf Lane.

Residents can expect to see preparations for the project beginning in mid-October with excavation of existing sewer lines beginning around October 20. Portions of the roadway and shoulder area of Old Wharf Lane will be excavated as part of this process. Excavation and replacement of the sewer lines is anticipated to take approximately 1 month to complete with roadway surface restoration expected to occur approximately November 24-27. Further restorative work will occur approximately December 1-5.

The Town will be working closely with the project contractor to minimize any inconveniences to residents on Old Wharf Lane. Traffic plans will be in place to ensure residents are able to access their properties during the construction. Water/sewer service disruptions will be kept as minimal as possible. Residents on Old Wharf Lane will be notified in advance of any service disruptions and road closures.
