The Queenstown Commissioners will hold hearing on Proposed Ordinance 17-03 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSTOWN ADOPTING A GENERAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2017 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2018, AND ESTABLISHING A TAX RATE OF .1773 PER $100 OF ASSESSED REAL PROPERTY VALUE AND A TAX RATE OF .44 PER $100 ON ALL COMMERCIAL OR BUSINESS PERSONAL PROPERTY AND PUBLIC UTILITIES; AND ALSO ADOPTING AN ENTERPRISE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN'S WATER AND SEWER OPERATIONS The hearing will be held in the Town Office and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the proposed budgets are attached.

Queenstown Commissioners will hold a work session at 6:30 to review correspondence, minutes and bills to be paid.  The regular meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a Public Hearing on Proposed Ordinance 17-03.  The agenda for this meeting is attached.

 COMMISSIONERS OF QUEENSTOWN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING           The Town Commissioners of Queenstown, Maryland will hold a public hearing on Ordinance No. 17-04, titled:    AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSTOWN TO ADOPT SUPPLEMENTAL FINDINGS OF FACT IN CONNECTION WITH THE APPLICATION OF THE GROWTH ALLOCATION FLOATING ZONE TO THE WATERMAN PROPERTY AND TO REFLECT THAT THE TOTAL ACREAGE OF THE WATERMAN PROPERTY TO BE RECLASSIFIED IS 59.405 ACRES, IN ORDER TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE NEWLY ADOPTED QUEENSTOWN CRITICAL AREA MAP               A public hearing will be held on Ordinance 17-04 on June 14, 2017 at 4:00 pm. at the Queenstown Town Office, 7013 Main Street, Queenstown, Maryland 21658. A copy of the Ordinance is available for inspection and review at the Queenstown Town Office during the normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.     Amy Moore, Town Clerk
